Accounts Receivable Analyst (Credit/Collections/Cash Apps)

Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is actively seeking a proficient Billing & Collections and Cash Applications specialist to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role is temporary, approximately 3 months in duration, with a hybrid work schedule requiring 3 days a week in the office in Redwood City. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage billing, collections, and cash applications efficiently, ensuring smooth financial operations within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage billing and collections processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Perform cash applications with precision, contributing to the company's financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Engage in AR closing activities, including month, quarter, and year-end procedures.
  • Utilize ERP systems, with Oracle Fusion being optimal, to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
  • Collaborate effectively within a hybrid work environment, spending three days a week in the office.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment, quickly integrating into the team to provide immediate impact.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in collections and AR closing.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems; Oracle Fusion experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.

Required Work Hours

The position requires working typical business hours, Monday through Friday, providing full-time support to the team.

The role offers competitive pay, with a salary range of $35 to $42 per hour, reflecting the candidate's experience and expertise.
